Hello,

I have come up with a problem. For some reason when I try to install the Ubuntu 8.04, it start up normaly, but as soon as I get into the installation screen (where to start with selecting your language) and the mouse appears, neither the keyboard or the mouse respond (everything sits still and I have to reboot manualy), it also "freezes" (doesn't respond) if I go into the live version mode. I also tryed to install SUSE, for which I know it must worked (since if there would be a problem when I burned the .iso image of Ubuntu), but the same problem appears (it shouldn't since I installed it normaly on my mom's PC)

So does anyone have any bright ideas on what I could, to make it work?

Thanks for your help and time.

PS: My mouse and keyboard are boath PS/2 plugins, not USB.

Ok, fighured out what was wrong (after finding someone who had similar problems), things work now :)
Aparently you have to dissable the USB Mouse and Keyboard Support from the BIOS settings in order to get things to work.
