I just started up my ubuntu 8.04 and noticed that the controls inside my windows are suddenly all looking real oldschool, I tried to change it by going to System->preferences->Appearance: under Theme i clicked customize and play around with the control tab.
But If i change the controls it only affects the controls inside the windows of the Appearance.
Anyone has a solution for this?
I attached a windows that should visualize my problem.

I too just started my hardy up after the last updates and cannot change icon-set. In System-pref-appearance i can change Themes but only 'Window borders' and 'controls' really change. The icons stay the same.
