View Full Version : [ubuntu] unable to reboot

when i click reboot, the splash shows normally but will freezen for a long time without any movement.
shutdown is normal.
i use dell optiplex 745, which is normal in 7.10
i try add some word on kernel but nothing improved.
can anyone show me how to fix it ?
Everything just fine except this bug.

so i boot in recovery mode, when i reboot the message show as following:
terminating all remaining processes...
networkmanager:(warm) nm_signal_handler() cought signal 15 shutting down normally.
networkmanager:(info) caught terminiation signal
networkmanager:(debug) 121094.......nm_print_open_socks();open sockerts list;
networkmanager:(debug).....nmprint.......;open sockerts done
networkmanageer; nm_al_deinit(); libhal shudown failed - connection is closed
networkmanageer: nm_dbus_init() nm_dbus_init() could not get the system bus. make sure the message bus daemon is running!!!
* unmounting temporary filesystems...
*will now restart
[71.452142]restarting system
then it looks death.
