Steaming Video Options - Password?

So here's my issue. I'm looking for a way to have "pay-per-view" interactive learning sessions (not for Ubuntu, I'm not some cash-strapped n00b...) where people pay to access a streaming video (a la justin.tv) on a weekly/monthtly/etc. basis. So customer pays $x on paypal and is given a unique account/passsword to access a stream. I don't know enough about streaming media to suggest/explore any specifics, which is why I'm asking. Do I:
A) Do a regular "account" system on my webpage and have the video stream on a protected page?
B) Use "xxxxxxx" software suggested by forum members? ;-)
C) Something else?

To tell you the truth it's more interactive art lessons, but whatever system pr0n sites use would be perfect! Any pr0n dealers here with some tips?
