Hello,

You don't need an ID-card to run Ubuntu but it's nice to have one.

I just found this web page that shows some nice ID-cards for Ubuntu users.

Press the "Descarga Ubuntu ID (http://fs-webdesign.com/blog/?p=24)" link to download a blank template.
Read the "Ubuntu ID Manual.txt" for how to fill in the details.

Minus the barcode, I would use it. I absolutely HATE barcodes.

The girl using Ubuntu is nice :)

And I laughed out loud at the Gobuntu guy!

What an unusual idea!

Nothing says "Freedom" like a barcode identifying every detail about you.

why stop at ID cards? i'm sure some artist would oblige with a 'ubuntu logo' forehead tattoo if requested!

Cool. Can you show me where to get a barcode like that ;)
I am just about to spend £28,000 on hand held barcode systems and all they tell me is what's in my database. :D

Working on it? Hell, they've probably been implanted already without knowing it :P

I read the other day about the system that they already have in place that reads every license plate that goes by "traffic cameras" and records the data to piece together where you go. Not just speeders. Not just criminals. EVERYNE. All without warrants. Seriously, google it

but the US isn't being left behind, though... we all now have "terrorist scores" where databases about us gain "points" for certain things. Like mentioning words in phone convos, club memberships, jobs, purchases at stores, etc. If your score goes above some secret number, then you are monitored.

As Hitler used to love to say: "Relax, it's all for the greater good" :p
