Hardy updates, bad signature

Hi

Im using Ubuntu Hardy.

While trying to change the location of my software sources to "Main server" I get the following error.



W: GPG error: http://archive.ubuntu.com hardy-updates Release: The following signatures were invalid: BADSIG 40976EAF437D05B5 Ubuntu Archive Automatic Signing Key <ftpmaster@ubuntu.com>


I successfully updated a couple of days ago and now this key is broken....??? It is also broken if I use my original server (New Zealand).
