I am a tech lover and I love to have new stuff to play with. I have been wanting to try the eeePC, but it is not for power users :/. I have also thought of building my own computer >_> and it comes to about 730 USD, but I don't have that kind of money... (I am a high school student). I have been saving up for the past month or two now and I have a total of 333 USD. Once I reach $800, I am getting it, but does newegg.com accept debits? I have tried buying something with PayPal from there, but I need a credit card (I plan on staying away from those). I have also tried to get a newegg proffered account, but it won't let me (I am 18). DOMMUT!!!!!!!! *points head on desk repeatedly*

and why the 700 watt power supply?
you can get a descent 550 with more than enough power for like ~50-70$, moduler cabling is over rated

Use used parts. It will cut the bill in half :)

What do you expect? You're getting an expensive video card, an enormous power supply, and an ergonomic wireless keyboard.
You'll be fine if you drop the 700W PSU and stick with the 500W that comes with your case. It would also help even more if you settled for an older video card (my 7600GT hums along happily, but then, I'm not a gamer). But the PSU is just unnecessary.

Newegg (http://www.newegg.com) accepts debit cards, along with various other payments (credit cards etc). Now quit complaining, help neighbors/ mow lawns for money and just wait. You'll get it eventually.
Oh and do like everyone else says, and tone some things down unless its for a specific purpose, like the case being a bit extravagant for extra upgrades later, etc.

I didn't know how much power I would need. I Know the CPU is going to be like 125W went OC'd and the GPU is like another 100W, then the M/B, HD, etc... I didn't know. Also, I am going to be running Vista as well, or I might do crossover. I cannot decide. Does crysis play nicely with crossover?
