How can I change the location of the Gnome Top Menu Bar? I just installed HH 8.04 on an old P2-450. All went well except for the menu bar. The top menu bar was fine at first, but when I first ran Firefox, the menu bar would jump from the top of the screen to the right side whenever I moved the cursor to shrink the Firefox screen. I was finally able to close Firefox, but the menu bar is now stuck on the right side of the screen. Rebooting does not affect it. Any help will be appreciated. (PS I'm pretty much a Noobie)

You can just grab and drop it on any edge position of your screen (up, down, left, right)

or

right click on menu bar -> Properties -> General -> Orientation -> Top

Thanks, but I can find Properties for the bottom menu bar but not the one that is normally across the top of the screen. I can't find properties for that one or drag it.

I guess the correct terminology is the "Notification Area"
