Hello there

I have a problem when i install the Ubuntu desktop-8.04 in my desktop computer

and i wondering why i cant run it as a live cd...
once i insert the installer into dvd
there is an option to select

1. Install Ubuntu
2. Check CD for defects
3. Rescue a broken system
4. Test memory
5. boot from first hard disk

If i choose install ubuntu it becomes a dos mode installation
I thought it is graphical based

my main objective is to setup the firestarter on my workstation

Please anyone can help me

You might have the Alternate CD. Download the Live CD from here:
