I'm using 8.04, and I tried changing the desktop appearance in Appearance Preferences, and when I changed my theme, it got rid of the buttons on the title bar (close, minimize, etc.), it also shifted the title of the applications over to the right more. I've tried all of the different themes, plus rebooted, and can't seem to get them back. Does anyone else have this problem?
I also have somehow lost my ability to go to different desktops by going through Crtl+Alt+Right arrow, even though it is showing 2 desktops at the top.
I do not have visual effects turned on--it is set to none.
Any help would be greatful!
