Hi,

I installed Hardy in my Proliant DL380 G2. Setup and installation of hardy went fine with help of the Smartstart CD 5.50.

I'm searching for the additional SW packs for Ubuntu, eg. compaq system management, support pack...

It seems they are only avalable for Red hat uns Suse?

Has anybody a good link or solution?

Thanks

Hello Talisker,

I started on the Amiga 1000. Almost had to do the same to buy the 40MB HDD which was in the A500 format and had to be turned upside down on the A1000. Getting that drive was like gaining a super warehouse. Used it and the computer for a good 8 years. Loant it for a further 3 years. It wouldnt have been used for quite so long if when I went out to buy the A3000 (or was it A3500) it had been available and the company was not dissapearing down the drainhole.

A couple years ago I fired it up just to see what would happen. Rapidly the old screen burst to life, all applications were still in place, no data appeared to have been lost.

Seagate made those drives I think. Very worthwhile the summer job.

Sorry I am no help with the question.

Regards

Ian
