Ham Radio Apps

I hope that on the next release, all of the available packages are included. I find some that are either not listed or are out of date. I know its easy to download and install what I want without using apt. But it would seem to me that they should be included in Ubuntu, as they all are in Debian package lists. None of these missing apps for ham radio are non-free or otherwise, they are all free. Just my gripe for an otherwise good distro, for other than 1 windows app, I stick to Ubuntu.

Do you actually use any of the packages?
I just installed a handfull since I renewed my license but no longer have a radio.
it'll be interesting to start to use it.
