I run the LUG in Richmond Indiana and I was wanting to create a live Ubuntu version with a custom background, login, splash, and both Gnome and KDE. I want to use this as a learning tool to familiarize people with Linux.
NOTE: I have very limited programming knowledge. How far over my head could this be?

I really don't know how that applies to Ubuntu, though.
