Ever since I've heard of that I've ben on and off itching to propagate for a name change from "bug" to "moth".

Roy's computer has a few moths but one big, nasty Mothra. He's gonna have to do a fresh install.

To de-mothman your PC try Spiderman.
To prevent moths from entering your system try mothballs.

Ugh, no. Not the first bug. The term "bug" had been in use by electrical engineers for a lot longer than that. Thomas freaking Edison used the term, for Pete's sakes! Given that EE, CE, and CS were pretty much all the same thing (most anything on a computer was done in hardware) back then, of course they would've used the same term.

Probably so. However, Edison couldn't very well have called it a 'computer bug', could he?
