View Full Version : [ubuntu] Problems searching wireless networks 3945ABG

May 12th, 2008, 10:20 AM
So I installed 8.04, and typed lspci to find my Integrated Intel Pro/Wireless 3945 (802.11a/b/g) is indeed detected.

I checked network options and unlocked my wireless and on the network manager on the top left it showed that the wireless option is ticked.

So I gather the wireless works out of the box then?

However I was unable to find a way to search for any available wireless networks so I created an unsecured one for my router and tried using the 'other wireless network' option to connect to it, but it never manages to connect.

How can I fix this problem - is there a way to automatically find one?
