Hi guys,
I'm getting this wierd thing on startup, when my Dapper install boots, it opens a window to /home every boot, how can I stop this? its not a major problem, but it gets annoying with time. Ive enabled/disabled save session changes, makes no difference. Theres several things in session startup, but I'm loathe to kill them without knowing exactly what they are. What should I be looking for?

Could you post the contents of the session startup entries?

OK, here you go...
is it the Nautilus one?
there seems to be a lot of stray ones, which can I safely kill?

Could you post the contents of the tab Startup Programs? If there is an entry there "nautilus" then yes, that's the one firing the /home on startup

yes, but nothing strange in there, does the current session look ok to you?

It seems to be fine. Create a new user, login as the new one and see if this occurs again...

I really don't know... I will get back to you tonight since i am not home. I'll check to see if this entry exists in my session too. Did you try to create a new user?
