I just wanna know more on that Kernel tweaking tool provided on Fed 9. Seems its sounds kool 2 me to figure out what it can do the best :D

I've been using Fedora 9 since a week ago and it is really great, it's clean and elegant and also many of the suspend and hibernation issues seem to have been fixed in it(mostly due to the kernel than anything else). The only problem is that it doesn't fly on my lappy which is a stock Compaq V3000 since it has only 512Mb of RAM, so I am hoping to upgrade it to 1Gb or more which should make the Fedora 9 experience even better:).

I am going to download it tonight, there really isnt a difference between the iso out today and the one they are releasing on wednesday except for an update or two. I will install it aside my arch installation.

I'll download it tomorrow. I was very happy with Fedora 8 and made it my main distribution for over 5 months. Hopefully Fedora 9 doesn't disappoint.

According to the Fedora forum, nVidia cards won't work properly with the new Fedora 9 until nVidia get their arses in gear and release a proprietary driver compatible with Xorg 1.5. The upshot of this is that if you install F9 with an nVidia 3D card, you won't have any 3D graphics. Boo. I'm thinking of changing from this aging Feisty install to the new Fedora, but I won't use up any bandwidth trying to download it until this is fixed.
