Gotta love the obviously biased video. You can tell he totally took the time to set everything up to use Linux MCE and not the Windows MCE. Linux MCE is pretty cool, but don't be the fanboi.

indeed. if it could recognize and set up when you start it up the first time like that, don't you think that just about EVERY linux user would be using it? yes, you would.

actually LMC sets you up with a wizard babe (she even speaks to you!).

remember windows media center comes with the Windows pre-installed (i didn't ask for it, it was just there).

linux mc does not come with any distro i know, in fact i don't even know if it's in the repos... which is a crime !! :(

you missed my point entirely. the original dude's stuff was pre-set up and biased from the get go. i'm not saying Linux MCE is no good (i've been wanting to try it myself for months) but that video is not a good representation of Media Center.
