Will Upgrading to Ubuntu 8.04 Affect USB in VirtualBox CSE

Currently, I have Ubuntu 7.10 and have Virtualbox Closed Source Edition already installed. I have 3 questions:

1) Will upgrading to Ubuntu 8.04 affect the USB feature in my closed source edition of virtualbox?

2) Will there be any problems with virtualbox that's alreay installed if I upgrade to ubuntu 8.04?

3) Will upgrading to 8.04 affect guest additions in virtualbox?

This is crucial in determining whether or not I should upgrade.

the upgrade should not mess at all with your virtual box install because it is closed source and therefore the ubuntu install wont touch it because it doesnt have any relevant packages in the repositories. So it should be safe to upgrade.
