Hi !!!

I just have installed 8.04 Hardy from scratch in my Hp Pavilion dv 1000 laptop. What are all the steps (including ALL the libraries and kernel headers and stuff) I have to follow so that I can patch my wireless driver for injection ?(to use with aircrack-ng). I have an Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection.

Thanks in advance !!!

I believe Ubuntu 8.04 still needs work to make aircrack-ng work (Ubuntu 8.04 has a too recent kernel for aircrack-ng). But, if you read the info on aircrack-ng.org, you can get the info.

If Ubuntu 8.04 is working with the 2200, you can use airdriver-ng to do a nice GUI patch for you. Read the airdriver-ng details.

Enjoy.
