I tried every available driver with the Radeon HD 2600 on Hardy.
Always got a black screen when using the "fglrx" driver.
Rendering always defaulted to Mesa and was terribly slow; mouse movement was also painfully slow.
I also had a problem with the atheros driver on Hardy. My card would not detect any SSIDs.
I installed Gutsy and rendering is normal speed, even with the "vesa" driver; and no problems with atheros.
