Hello all. I have installed Ubuntu 8.04 for about a week and sometimes when i boot the desktop icons don't show up. SPecifically i have 3 mounted on partitions (hard disks) and some other pictures. When i check in the desktop folder i only find the pictures but not the partitions.
After rebooting a couple of times the icons will eventually appear... how can i solve this though? THank you so much for your help
