Hello,

I have cedega 4.4.1 version installed and i'm trying to get Live for speed to work.
But i can't manage.

Everytime i start LFS.exe (cedega /path/LFS.EXE

I get a error:
Could not write to data folder. Is LFS installed on youre hard drive?

Does somebody know what's the matter?

Could it be a permission problem? Check the folder and see the permissions.

Could it be a permission problem? Check the folder and see the permissions.

I did a chmod 777 on the whole directory.
So I don't think it's a problem, do you?

How did you install the game? copy it from windows drive? install it through point2play? Point2play is really the best way to test games out before you try to run them from cmd line..

The game is not installed with an installer.
LiveForSpeed is always in a zip file.
I downloaded it and put it on the linux partition.
I also put it in the .transgaming/c_drive/Program Files/LiveForSpeed

I tried everything with chmod and chown for the permissions.

Try unzipping LFS to the desktop, it works fine here. I have had troubles in the past with folder names with spaces in, like 'Program Files'. Not sure if that is the problem here, but its worth a try.

LFS needs a native linux version, the game is really good.

Also try running cedega from within the LFS directory, without /path/LFS.exe. Like this:

cd /path/to/LFS
cedega LFS.exe

i tried everything you say.
I put the directory back to the Desktop run as root and start cedega LFS.exe in the directory where LFS.exe is.

I don't understand anymore whan i could do.
