Hi,

I've recently starting getting updates off http://mirror.aarnet.edu.au since it is stupidly fast when I am on campus (Uni Melbourne), and theoretically saves the uni money.

However, I seem to have problems with partial updates, and I twice now I have got problems such as below when using update-manager. Last time they took 4 or 5 days to fix (about a week ago).

Right now, I am getting the same problems. Is this just something I have to swallow because I am using a non-official mirror?

Seems like your school's mirror is not fully synced with the main server, so it may not have everything. You can always consider taking it up with your school's IT department, the worst they can do is say they won't do it or there is nothing they can do about it.

Seems to be fixed now. Hopefully was a transient problem. But yes, thanks for your advice.
