Hey all,
Upgraded to 8.04 the other day, left the upgrade overnight and when I got up something weird had happened. The installation had run past the splash screen and before it gets to the login prompt it just hangs...forever. When I hit the power button on my machine I get to the command prompt, and it tells me the following:
Fatal: Unknown config dir 'Bind' on line 6 of 'etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf' [fail]
I'm 99% sure thats how it's worded, as it only gives me so long to look at it before it spews out a load of errors and shuts itself down. I can only assume 8.04 has done something to my proftpd config file for some reason? Regardless, I can't get back into any sort of GUI to sort it out, and to be honest I don't really know what to do.
Can anyone help?
