Using 8.04 with the default gnome, how can I remove the "boring" screen savers from the random play list?

With 6.06 and 7.04 I had to disable screen savers because they'd lockup the system if left running overnight. With 8.04 no problems all week! A minor improvement, compared to the setback of pulse audio. I'm in a fortunate minority where while sound is nice, its not essential for what I do.

I can't help you with your problem, but I can advice you to use "Blank screen" screensaver always :)
'Cause when you use "Cool" 3D screensavers just watch you System Monitor CPU usage statistics. Some screensavers take up to 60% of CPU just to render all that beautiful things. But in such a time the system is suppose to have a rest! As you are. So what is the reason to keep you CPU busy all the time when you absolutely don't using it?!
