Hi there
I'm trying to install Ubuntu on my Acer Aspire 1642 laptop. When I try to install from LiveCD, all works fine until partitioning.
When I try to install from boot menu CD, I can't read from the display...the resolution is too big.
What approach to use, in order o successfuly install Ubuntu.
my laptop configuration is:
- Intel Pentium M 740 processor
- Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 128 MB memory
- 15.4 WXGA Acer CrystalBrite TFT LCD 1280x768x32
- Sound Card HDA Intel (Realtek alc260 chip)
- Memory: HDD 100 GB, RAM 1024MB DDR2, DVD+RW DL recorder
- Networking: LAN Ethernet 10/100Mbps, WLAN IPW2200 802.11b/g
