For those who are die-hard Ubuntu users.
You'll be glad to know that Intrepid is here!

You can get it using this handy little hack...

Hit Alt+F2

gksu gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
Now type in Ctrl+H (or your text editors' command of choice for replace... ie: Nano is "Ctrl+W, Ctrl+R")
And type in:

hardy
In the "Search For" field, and:

intrepid
In the replace field.

Continue to replace all matches, save the changes and quit.

You are now upgraded!
One last thing to do:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Goodbye Hardy...
Hello Broken System!!!
:lolflag:

Regards
Iain

Just so most people know - this is really not a good idea. If you want to try it out in a Virtual Machine - then yes go ahead ;) I did - it wouldn't boot

Let's close this one, on the grounds that it's a bad idea. Anybody who wants to tinker with II should wander over to the development forum first, and see what kind of madness lies therein.

Intrepid is broken atm and you will not be receiving a usable gui.

Merges are still running and not even devs will be running it yet in general. Its just not cool or useful.
