mount drives with likewise !?!

Hello I was searching for a solution but no luck yet

I installed likewise-open and it work fine :-)

now I have 2 questions

1- what should we do so people (students and staff) do not need to write DOMAIN\username and write only username when they login?

2- how to mount network shares (windows file server) as drives? like their personal home drive on the server and other shares at the login (remember we are using likewise-open) and be able to use it normaly with open office to open and save files to

we are so excited to use Ubuntu at our school :-)

Data BaseItem 1: go to system-administration-network.
In the networkbox select the host tab, then type in your domaiun name in wher it says domain.
That should allow the machine to become a member of that domain.
