Hi all,

After my computer wakes from suspend there is a black mark at the top left corner of the screen that won't go away until I reboot. It doesn't cause any problems but I would prefer to get rid of it.
It stays put if I move the top panel to another spot.
I am running Hardy Heron on an Inspiron 1520 with intel graphics and compiz enabled.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

OK,

just made a discovery. It is only there when Firefox 3 beta is running. Anyone else have this problem?

This problem probably belongs somewhere else.

I get this exact same problem only in Gutsy Gibbon. I haven't been able to get rid of it yet, but I've noticed it changes colour if I change the theme under Emerald Theme Manager.

For example, if the theme uses white shadows, it'll be a white blob in the corner. This leads me to believe it's some residual windows opening one on top of another in the corner.

I've also noticed that this happens in apps other than Firefox, but Firefox is the worst, appearing to open several of these residual windows rather than just one.

This didn't happen on my previous install of Gutsy upgraded from Feisty.

Any help would be appreciated.

Update: This hasn't happened so far in the Opera browser...
