For some reason, no matter what I do, Ubuntu will not allow me to get past the partitioning stage of the installation. I have tried many different types of partitioning, but still it will not work. I even did a low-level format of my drive, and left it unpartitioned, thinking that maybe Ubuntu would need to build its own partitions. I've tried fat32, ext3, unpartitioned, even linux-swap. I'm starting to wonder if my motherboard is just incompatable (it's an Asus) with Ubuntu. And on top of all that, I have installed Sabayon several times on the same hardware (which installed without a single problem). Any help that you could give me would be most appreciated.
