I have just had Linex operating system installed on one of my computers. I have a Lexmark all in one printer (p4350) which the people at Lexmark tell me is not compatible with Linex. Is there perhaps some program to overide this problem?

Sorry to tell you this, but the people at Lexmark are right. Lexmark is definitely NOT Linux friendly. I have heard that there some who have gotten the printer to partially work (search google for this), but I have tried in the past and have never know anyone who has been successful.

Regards

Bob

Sorry, but openprinting (http://openprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=Lexmark-P4350) says it's a paperweight. Perhaps you can google it and find a way that is not in openprinting yet.

HP is the best for Linux friendly printers.

thanks, Bob. Yes, Lexmark tells me they have two printers that will work - x5250 and x7170. It was worth a try.
