What will Oregon team do exactly? Help Oregon open source users.

I'm in Albany OR. and I can't get Gusty to update to Heron. Fetch fails on several files. I am running a Fortigate that does stateful packet inspection. Can this be the problem? Everything else works great here at my test lab at work. even the regular updates.

Isn't there a PDX team as well?

There is one listed on the LoCo team list page, but I'm not really sure how active they are. The page was updated last month, but the modification was to change a name. And when you click the link to see the upcoming events, it links to the list on the PNW LoCo page.

Ubuntu Certification? I have curently started studying for LPIC-1. Is there a specific Ubuntu cert that I should try for also, or will LPIC serve me well?

LPI is actually the same people who do the Ubuntu certification. More information can be found here (http://www.lpi.org/en/lpi/english/certification/ubuntu_certified_professional).
