I've noticed for accessing some setting in ubuntu, thats settings where I have to 'unlock' them, I have to keep putting in my password, I understand this is for security and to make sure the user doesn't do anything by mistake. But how can I set it so I don't get asked for the password?

I don't think you can.

It is possible, but highly unsupported.

you're right, there are ways... but then this would apply: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=765414

I think one could also edit the sudoers file to remove the necessity of entering a password. That would still follow the guide line and requires to enter sudo this.

However that would still be risky buisness.

Think I'll leave it as it is for now. Thanks for the help though.
