Hi all,
I just installed Ubuntu 8.04 (clean install from alternate install CD) and I can't login, unless I select the 'gnome failsafe' under 'session'. If I don't, the screen is brown for a few seconds, then black, and then I get back to the login screen. The same happened with the beta live CD.
Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks for any advice.
