Hi,

I've been trying to get Winamp to work on Ubuntu but haven't had any success. Is there anyone that can help?

Also, I was wondering if there's anyway that winamp can be put on to the widget page?

You should look into Synaptic for some Media-players, there are many that are wayyyy better than winamp.
If you want something in the style of winamp then try out audacious.
If you want a real Music-manager/Player then you should definatly take a look at Amarok.

WinAmp works, as in it will play songs, if you install it with Wine, but I couldn't get the media library part to work.

Amarok is incredible. it can handle mp3 devices, retrieve lyrics and album art, manage your collection, shoutcast radio, visualisations, skins and more. simply awesome.
