ok so i completely got rid of vista and installed ubuntu 8.04...BUT!!!! the card showed up in hardware and so did the vista driver for the card, but i have no wireless option to connect to, both card and (hal) drivers are enabled. so i installed ndiswrapper and tryed windows xp .inf driver, it shows that the driver is a valid driver. but no wireless option im using a atheros 802.11 a/b/g wireless card ive tryed to do some of the things people have posted but none seem to work, and i realy refuse to go back to vista unless its completely necessary. my laptop is a toshiba a200-25v.. if anyone has figured it out for this laptop please all help will be appreciated.
