Hi All

I have an Acer Aspire 4315 running 8.04. It's a cheap and nasty laptop.

All the other machines in the house are apple macs, one of which acts as a file server.

I can share files using samba without too many troubles. However I can't put linx on my desktop to files on the (mac) server. I've tried using afp to connect instead, which didn't help. I still can't create a link. I haven't tried using NFS coz I suspect I might get the same result.

Does anyone know if it's possible to put a link on my desktop to a file on an apple file server?
