I am using an toshiba a215-s7422 (laptop), with Ubuntu 8.04; the problem is I get serious sytem hangs, or applications become unresponsive. I have seen that this is not an isolated condition to my installation, and it has occured over several other users installations as well. I just wanted to know if there was a documented fix, or work around for this at the time being.
