Bittornado problem after upgrade

I can't get bittornado to start after I upgraded from 7.10 to 8.04

any ideas why?

Are there any errors or warnings?
Is anything output to stdout or stderr when you call the program on the commandline?

I'm having that problem too. When I start bittornado in a terminal it says that wxPython is missing or depreciated ??
