Hello
Tried to install Ubuntu 8.04 from the live CD but it stops during the installation with some white text on a black screen with no clue of what to do.
I disabled the ACPI in the bios and it worked fine. Problem is I need the ACPI on for the XP which I am dual booting with 8.04 (rather trying to).
Why cant I install it with ACPI on? :confused:
My Board is MSI 975X
Intel PD
2G Ram
ATI 550
250 sata HD
