Hi, i am new to ubuntu and wanted to try it so a friend gave me version 6.10. Later i realised there were higher versions so deleted the 6.10 and since am unable to install any of the higher versions. once i boot from the disk, i select install on hard disk then my screen goes blank but if i insert the disc for 6.10 it runs perfectly.
