I have very nearly got my ibook G4 to do all the things I want it to do but there are a couple of niggles still. Im using xubuntu 7.10 on an ibook g4.

Has anyone managed to get any of the "tv on demand" players working?
ie, bbc iplayer, 4OD, NBC, ITV catchup etc?
All I have managed to get working is youtube. Not even the bingo/casino games on william hill and ladbrokes :-(

I ran round in circles and concluded that none will work but thought id ask before I write the idea off.

Many Thanks for everyones help. This forum is to dogs!

mmm, I will do from now on.

When I use the bbc iplayer it says that it only works with windows. I remember signing a petition which the government accepted and forwarded to the BBC who said they would do something about iplayer being a windows only player. Still no joy for me.

The iplayer works with windows osx and linux but NOT PPC linux because adobe dont make a player http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/ ring them up and complain like I did. They said they were aware of the problem yada yada yada. I said make a dirac player. Give them hell you pay the licence fee but you cant use what you've paid for!
