linux-2.6.24-gentoo-r7 Issues

Is anyone else having problems with the latest source release. I mess with kernels all the time but i'm having issues with gentoo-r7. I haven't been able to compile a kernel that will either boot or allow an xserver.

It's not a major issue as i can live with r3 or r4 but i'm nonplussed.

I didn't have any problem with it, but since they've stabalized linux-2.6.24-gentoo-r8, hopefully that'll work better for you.

Yeah, i tried a few more times and lived with r4. Compiled r8 on 2 different pcs and have no issues. However, I did notice the short time period between r7 and r8.
