Is there an easy way to get grub on some other application to remove and clean up, previous installations of kernels and associated stuff? I know how to do this manually, but after a few updates I end up with about 8 versions available. I suspect I only need about 3, the current and last two which worked ok.

Suggestions?

Thanks

If you remove the ones you don't want with synaptic etc. it cleans up grub as well.

Search for linux-image

You can I assume do the same from the cli but I wouldn't feel sure I'd picked the right ones personally :)

It's always good to have at least one sitting at the bench sort of speak.
