Install Graphical Gnome in UBUNTU Server

Hi, Good day.
I wanna ask about gui for server edition.
I've installed a gnome perfectly to server.
Otherwise i can't load that graphical. How can I load them when i boot it. (Can I ?)

did you "sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop"?

That would do it, along with a whole lot of other stuff that you don't generally need on a server boxes (OpenOffice, media players, and hundreds of other packages)

Does anyone know how to just get X + gnome on a server install? Is there a meta package out there that will do it?
