Hi. I got a practical exam at college which involves partitioning, formatting and installing an OS on a PC (they provide the PC, the students bring their preferred OS), obviously I decided to bring ubuntu as my OS to that exam, problem is the PC they provide is a dinoputer and I decided that it would be better if I made my own lxde based ubuntu LiveCD featuring the standard human theme and gdm stuff. Obviously here's were things get a bit complex, I'm on Mandriva, hence I would like to know, Does reconstructor work on mandriva? Is it even possible to remaster an ubuntu LiveCD (add and remove packages mainly) from another (read: non-ubuntu/non-Debian) distro?
