Is Desmond Toto the same chap who wrote about the rains in Africa?

It must be his wardrobe you like?

Post-Gabriel Genesis is simply awful.

Me I'm a lawnmower......

I think a little context is in order, just so people don't get confused:

What is his secret? He has a heart—in our part of the world, we would give him our highest accolade and say, "He has ubuntu." It is that marvelous quality that speaks of compassion and generosity, about sharing, about hospitality.

well, you have to take off your *nix glasses to read that properly.

If you mean Peter Gabriel after Genesis then yes, me too, think his music is excellent.

What I can't stand is Genesis after he left.

(The wardrobe bit was inspired by your typo "Garbiel" garb = clothing :D)

And the ironic thing is that he really does use Linux (Possibly Ubuntu, dunno). I read an article about him a few months back and he is involved with a number of projects and there was mention of Linux being used within his studio for something. *VAGUENESS ALERT* Err no idea where I saw it :D

I'm listening to Peter Gabriel right now. I saw him live last year and it was awesome.

I heartily recommend his live show for a good night out.

Desmond Tutu (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desmond_Tutu) as per the OPs post is an Anglican Archbishop, Nobel Laureate and some other things. He seems like an all round nice guy even though I'm not into religion.

I do not know of any Desmond Toto but I do know a band called Toto (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toto_(band)) that has a hit song called Africa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Africa_(Toto_song)) which is a great song. Can be seen on Youtube over here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPT_3PEjnsE

Don't know if this is what you're refering to, but he has his Witness Organization site, which is on a Linux server.

That's all I was able to find by doing a search Peter Gabriel Linux.

Also, seriously, post-Genesis Garbiel no good? Have you listened to Security? "Lay Your Hands on Me" trumps everything he's done before.

If you're referring to my remark I said post-Gabriel Genesis.
What I meant was that Genesis were rubbish after Gabriel left.

Unfortunately someone liked his stuff so much that instead of doing what most people do ('steal' the music Via P2P) someone decided to steal his whole WebServer.... :D:D
