I am trying to install Unbuntu on a new system that is using an Jetway Motherboard with a VIA Eden CPU. It is a nifty little very low power consumption system. I am running XP on this machine and it works very well for what it is. Is anyone familiar with the VIA CPU and have you had any success with installation? I have tried safe graphics mode, text based installation and setting my BIOS to RAID from IDE. I have a SATA HD but not in RAID configuration. I have 1 Gig of memory. I have had changing boot parameters suggested but I don't know what parameters to change or how to do this but I do know when and where to do this. I can get as far as the Busy Box and then it stops.
Thanks!
