I started out with Ubuntu 7.10. I then upgraded to 8.04. I also downloaded the 8.04 TLS image and burned it to a CD to have for future use.
Ubuntu 8.04 is working fine. I thought I'd try installing the Kubuntu-desktop to try it out.
I went into Synaptic Package Manager, found kubuntu-desktop and attempted to download and install. At the start of the download, I get a message that tells me to install the "Ubuntu 8.04_Hardy Heron_-release i386 (20080422.2)"
Any idea why it's asking for the CD? I put the 8.04 CD into the drive, it loads but I still get the message telling me to install the CD. Is it because the exact name of the CD does not match?
Any idea how I should proceed? I also tried installing from a terminal but got the same message.
